Acceptance!

This was an article which I had written in 2008, which somehow won a prize in Graphology learning center :)

Unconditional acceptance, means love having no boundaries, a desire of being submitted, an emotion of being accepted unmasked.

A man is always hungry, ever since is child birth…hunger for food, hunger for knowledge, hunger for money, hunger for LOVE.

When a child is born who is pure, unaware, ignorant and with an absolutely empty mind….we accept him the way he is.

As a person grows and goes through the process of life, knowingly & unknowing imbibes certain thoughts which corrupt his mind and takes a wrong path.

And then comes an emotion of being accepted not from the entire world...but from the world amongst us…the world which is been created for each other, our family and friends. We feel like being a child again, so that one can understand, pamper, love and ACCEPT us. But in today's world, everyone wants to grow by pulling someone down. Most of them are more on the receiving mode, rather than giving.

When we are accepted, treated with love and tenderness in acute circumstances, we make an effort to stand by our convictions. We not only recognize ourself but he receives willpower to rectify the same. Here begins a journey in finding true self. And then the mutual receiving and giving takes place.

We all need to understand the power of unconditional acceptance to heal, love and spread happiness around and making this world worth to live. Experience life by living it & not spending it.

Everything is Temporary!!

My best friend used to say “Nothing is forever” and my heart used to sink and feel how is that possible. There has to be something that is forever like love, hate, emotions, souls…

Ahhh!! Too philosophical…let me just get into the face and say the bitter truth “Everything is temporary”

And there goes one electric bulb enlightened on my head showing my bright aura :P. my heart suddenly feels better, though the meaning of both the phrases are same. It’s absolutely illogical for something within us (call it heart, brain, emotions, hormones...whatever) to react differently upon the phrases which mean the same. But that what we say…Different perception make you feel differently.

Everything is temporary…I repeat in my mind. Today’s fears becomes tomorrow’s bravery, today’s confidence may become tomorrow’s fear. Today’s friends become foes tomorrow. Today’s stranger becomes best of your friends. Today’s love is lost tomorrow. Today’s challenge becomes your right hand job. The innocent baby today becomes an adult tomorrow. Today’s life is becomes death tomorrow. Everything moves because everything is temporary. The shape, color, vigor, character is never the same.

Then where is the reference point? What should we refer to if one needs to do a comparison or analysis upon where you have reached? The actual truth is there is no reference point; it’s just a flow…flow of events, flow of different people coming and going, flow of changing attitudes. One can never understand where they have reached, cause every situation needs a different way to be handled...you may have to modify, stretch, be stern or sometimes just be neutral … you just keep learning new ways to deal with it.

However successful, rich and famous you become you still have challenges till your last breath. You are always challenged at every level….if you are a king or a beggar, if you are a super star or a loser, if you are a leader or a follower. It doesn’t matter where you reach but its most important how you reached. Did you surpass with your own effort or took an easy way out…

It doesn’t matter if what kind of life I am leading…the more important is how I am leading it. Yesterday’s challenge is just history; you still have to live up to the next challenge to survive.

Have you ever thought how it would be if I got a chance to live a superstar’s life…I feel it would be no different cause you still are flooded with different set of challenges. Everyone is playing the lead role is their own life and the life is also temporary so either you choose to live others way or your way you still are bound to face bumps and potholes. At least I choose to live it my way and it feels great to see myself in the lead role for the movie called “My Life” :)

Activated India

The synonyms for India are Bharat and Hindustan. Diversity in the name itself, imagine the diversity you would notice in culture, colors, vigor, taste across the country.

Geographically India is the seventh-largest country, 2nd most populous country & most populous democracy in the world. Four of the world's major religions—Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism—originated here, while Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam arrived from other parts of the world. The land here has a great tolerance to accept each and every culture coming across the world.

A reality check – Most people here complain upon the government not playing safe with the finances, corruption at peak, infrastructure not well planned, poverty, overly populated, unemployment etc. In spite of negative publicity that government had received, India is classified as new industrialized country and is one of the four BRIC nations.

India is a mini world in itself; it has deserts, valleys, mountains, beaches, glaciers everything divided in 28 states and seven union territories. God has actually worked upon this country with minute details. So do the countrymen of this nation. In a way they are god fearing & religious but on a contrary they would forget humanity to respect the religious vows.

Festivals - Once upon a time it was a medium to build relations, interact and thanking God for giving this life but the meaning now has changed to “Show Off” how much you can spend. Unity before has converted into competition now. Your rating is decided by the amount of noise you make and amount of resources that you can waste.

People - You might buy your own shoes twice, you may encounter theft by the most helpful person, you may get directions for the same address in absolute different directions. But you will also find a stranger going out of way to get your stolen thing, you may be get shelter by a completely unknown family, you may find a person accompanying you till you reach the destination. They are WEIRD !!

Roads here have potholes, people will spit everywhere, speed breakers may break your spine, and the dustbins would be forever overflowing…huhhhhh! But it’s the same place where you have the liberty to voice your opinions, you would find bonded families, you would find real friends and most importantly you will find your individuality as it gives each and everyone a fair opportunity to prove yourself.

However it may be - irritable, noisy, polluted, populated, corrupted, uncivilized yet the entire world finds the peace and solace here; after all our spiritual roots & Vedic morals are ingrained in our genes.

However drastic situation be, people here say “Sab thik ho jayega” (Everything will be fine). The world will only start sinking when “A Bhartiyay” will start losing hope and faith, till then “Sab thik hai” (All is Well)

I feel proud to be a minuscule part of this country. Proud to be an Indian… A Bhartiyay…A Hindustani :)
