Global warming…you can ignore it, but you definitely can’t avoid it.
Increased pollution, unaware society, ignorant attitude… what goes has to come back. The day will soon arrive which would take us all in a situation where everyone would prefer to live in boat house. People are not ready to leave their comfort zone, because they are so used to it without even realizing what is coming ahead.
Greenhouse gases (CO2, CH4, CFC’s) -- major contributors for warming up are extracted by coal based power plants, vehicles, aerosols & through agriculture.
Even though we have alternatives in place…like using CFL bulbs, having a group journey instead of using one vehicle per individual, Ban on aerosols (which have CFC’s), gas cylinders instead of petrol & using biodiesel fuels. The scientists are working upon more to find a enhanced solution but will time favor us?
The educated crowd is definitely aware of the increasing problem, but anyone implementing the remedies…one out of ten.
It’s not only the awareness which is required also its time for implementation of certain rules through our government on the citizens irrespective of any class and creed. Rules which have proper justification which would make people understand the reason to follow them. The people, who understand will follow it in their daily life but the ones who doesn’t understand it will also follow in their daily life because it’s a RULE.
Following are few with justification:
· Buses running on biodiesel fuels or LPG— no greenhouse gases emitted
· CFL instead of incandescent bulbs—will help government not to produce any more coal based power plants (which emits huge amounts on CO2) to meet the electricity demands.
· Perfumes instead of deodorants—pressurized cans have CFC’s.
· Car Pooling—the average pollution per person will be reduced.
· Switching to HC refrigerators instead of HFC refrigerators – HFC134a refrigerant has the high global warming potential. Ask the refrigerator companies to switch to HC technology
The fight goes on between manhood & nature, but we have to remember one thing that …If it’s a fight…One has to win…You can be against nature & get destroyed OR be with nature & be safe…
